About Project
The Runaki project is a government-led initiative dedicated to providing 24-hour electricity across the Kurdistan Region. Taking part in this mission, BIM plays an essential role in implementing this project, helping achieve greater stability, efficiency, and transparency in the power sector, aligning with the government’s mission of delivering continuous, reliable energy to every community.
Through its participation, we are helping to resolve over two decades of electricity supply challenges by providing stronger infrastructure, and combating fraud, thereby marking a significant step towards improving the Kurdistan Region's electricity infrastructure and aiming to provide residents and businesses with uninterrupted power while reducing reliance on generators.
